Four years of Wiy Yoga: A quiet reflection.

As June draws to a close, I’ve been sitting with what it means for Wiy Yoga to turn 4.
Four years ago, Wiy Yoga was born from a simple idea—movement with intention. It was just me, a mat, and a deep desire to hold space for others to connect with their bodies, breath, and inner strength. I didn’t have a grand business plan. I just knew I wanted to share what yoga had given me: clarity, courage, and a way back to myself.
Since then, Wiy Yoga has evolved alongside my own life. It’s moved across borders, weathered personal storms, taken breaks, and come back with a renewed sense of purpose. It hasn’t always been smooth, but it’s always been real.
What I’ve learned over these four years is this: building something meaningful takes time, presence, and the willingness to keep showing up even when things feel uncertain. Especially when they do.
I’m grateful for every person who has flowed with me, trusted me to guide them, or supported this journey from the sidelines. Whether you joined a class, shared kind words, or simply believed in Wiy Yoga from afar—thank you.
I hope to continue showing up with heart. To grow slowly, intentionally, and in community. Because Wiy Yoga was never just about the poses—it’s about finding strength in stillness, softness in effort, and purpose in practice.
Here’s to year five—rooted, evolving, and always flowing with strength.
With love,
Alawiyyah
